How to remove foam insulation from hands?

Foam insulation dries quickly and is hard to get off from skin. Always use gloves when using spray foam insulation. When you get some insulation on your hands , follow the below steps to get it off :

- Rub the area with a cloth dipped in acetone (Nail polish remover ) .
- Wash off acetone thoroughly with soap.
- Apply copious amounts of petroleum jelly and put on a rubber glove. Let it soak for half hour.
- Use a pumice stone and rub the area to peel off the insulation.
- Wash with soap and repeats steps if necessary.
- If you still have some insulation left after these steps, wait a few days for the insualtion to dry up and peel off on its own or use petroleum jelly and pumice stone for a few days.
